Why an Endowment is a Lasting
Gift of Faith
What is an Endowment?
An endowment is like planting a seed that keeps growing. When you contribute to an endowment, your gift is invested rather than spent. Only a portion of the earnings from that investment is used each year to support Eucharistic Adoration in the Diocese of Gary, while the principal remains intact. This means your gift keeps giving year after year, allowing your faith to touch lives long into the future.
What does the Eucharistic Adoration Endowment Support?
It helps ensure that Eucharistic Adoration continues to thrive in Lake, Porter, LaPorte, and Starke Counties. Ministries often face unexpected financial challenges. This endowment allows any Catholic entity throughout the Diocese of Gary to submit a grant application requesting support in beautifying their adoration experience.
Some past grant applications requested assistance in renovating their chapels, purchasing altar linens, monstrances, ombrellinos, humeral veils and copes, and assisting with speaker honorariums. We begin collecting grant applications December 1.
How do I make a contribution?
Whether it is a one-time legacy donation, or a monthly legacy donation, your support is appreciated. An endowment is also a wonderful way to honor the memory of a loved one. It’s a meaningful tribute that reflects their faith and devotion while supporting a cause that was dear to their heart. Donations can be made through the link below.
Would you rather make a difference for a year — or a lifetime?
By choosing to give through an endowment, you are ensuring that the blessings of Eucharistic Adoration will continue to touch hearts long after today.
